Guest Glance ("we", "us", or "our") helps podcast hosts find the right guests using AI-powered search. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Data We Collect
- Account information — name, email address, and profile details you provide when you sign up (via email or Google OAuth).
- Profile data — your bio, expertise, podcast name, role, tags, and avatar if you create a profile.
- Search queries — the text you enter when searching for guests, and the results returned.
- Messages — content of conversations you initiate with other users through the platform.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and approximate location (country/region level).
- Cookies — session cookies for authentication and anonymous usage tracking. See Section 6 for details.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the Guest Glance service.
- To power AI-powered guest matching — your search queries are compared against profiles to find relevant matches.
- To send transactional emails (account verification, connection notifications).
- To analyze usage patterns and improve the product (via aggregated, anonymized analytics).
- To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — hosting and deployment.
- Google Analytics — website usage analytics.
- Microsoft Clarity — session recordings and heatmaps (anonymous, used to improve user experience).
- Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
- Google OAuth — sign-in authentication.
These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With your consent — when you initiate a connection or message with another user, your profile information is shared with that user.
- With service providers — as described in Section 4, solely to operate the service.

We use essential cookies for authentication (session cookies) and to track anonymous search usage (one free search limit). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Microsoft Clarity and Google Analytics may set their own cookies for analytics purposes as described in their respective privacy policies.

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required for legal or legitimate business purposes. Search history and messages may be retained in aggregated, anonymized form.

- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
